Google Cloud Community Day is an event organized by the Google Developer Groups Cloud Kolkata community that features industry experts presenting on exciting cloud topics. The shared belief powering this conference is that when developers come together to exchange ideas, amazing things can happen.
As the onset of the 2023 event has already begun and CFS started, it takes us back to the days of the last event organized on the 27th and 28th of August 2022.
Organized under the leadership of Anubhav Singh (Lead organizer, GDG Cloud Kolkata), Jyoti Mishra (Co-organizer, GDG Cloud Kolkata), Snehangshu Bhattacharya (Co-organizer, GDG Cloud Kolkata), Md. Nasirul Haque(Co-organizer, GDG Cloud Kolkata), Kazi Haque (Co-organizer, GDG Cloud Kolkata), and countless other team members, and volunteers, GCCD Kolkata 2022 became the biggest ever cloud events in the entirety of Eastern India, surpassing all previous records. The event was organized at Taal Kutir, by Taj Hotels at Eco Park, Kolkata.

My community- Google Developer Students Club, Techno India University got selected as one of the community partners for the event, and we had a great opportunity to attend the event, be a part of it, and witness the best of organizing skills, enigmatic speakers and the serenity of location choices.
5 of us from our community set out on an elaborate journey which involved a lot of insider jokes and at this point, a fear of uber motos T_T. Anyhow, the registration desk had been divided into ranges to facilitate easy processing, and the 2 halls had been divided according to the 2 tracks that were being followed.

Numerous eminent industry expert speakers were there, giving talks on their respective domains and technologies. Being a man of the UI world, I found the best guidance from Sahil Kalyani, and Ankit Sharma, amongst others.

Event organizers did their level best by explaining the entire journey of GCCD 2022 in the ending keynote with impressive statistics and an excellent representation of the registration data using sounds and other visualized data forms.
A day well spent and an event so inspiring, that it motivated us to conduct a few special sessions at GDSC TIU with immense zeal, and the proper structure and nonetheless, returned fruitful results.
Cheers to the organizers, volunteers, speakers, and community partners. Wishing the entire team the very best for the GRAND EVENT of 2023!
